What the site can and cannot provide
Ugly Animals can answer questions about its own pages, sourcing, corrections and publication rights. It cannot provide veterinary advice, wildlife rescue instructions for a specific emergency or permission to reuse material owned by another rights holder.
If an animal is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local wildlife authority, rescue organisation or emergency service in your area.
Help us route your message
Use a clear subject such as factual correction, image rights, accessibility or partnership. Put the relevant page URL near the top of the message. If the issue concerns several pages, one example plus a short description of the pattern is more useful than repeated messages.
We do not publish a guaranteed response time, and unsolicited commercial proposals may not receive a reply. Credible privacy, rights, security and factual concerns receive priority according to urgency and the information available for verification.
Do not send passwords, payment details, health records or unrelated sensitive information. Email is not an emergency channel. A message about an animal in immediate danger should go to a local authority or qualified rescue service that can act where the animal is located.
